The bank uses a robust core application to
manage thousands of transactions a day, which makes hard to analyze daily
data transactions. A new application in Access/VBA was created to run
queries and extract specific data and importing to a more user-friendly
interface. A series of reports were created based on the client needs to
analyze risks.
The final result was: The Data Analyst was
spending 4 hours daily to created executive reports, this time was
dramatically reduced, to just a few minutes having the information
available for risk management.
